[h=1]40th District Tournament set[/h]The boys and girls 40th District Tournament opens Monday at Bourbon County High School.

 

In the boys tournament, top-seed and defending two-time district champion Montgomery County (15-11) will play Bourbon County (8-18) in the tournament opener at 6 p.m. on Feb. 24, followed by second-seeded Clark (19-8) and third seed Paris at approximately 7:45 p.m.

 

The two winners will compete for the title at 7 p.m. on Feb. 26.

Neither team has ever qualified for the region out of the 40th district. I thought this was very likely to be the year with Paris, but I think they will have a very tough matchup with GRC.
