Lee 11 Owsley 1

Errors are part of the game. Good win for Lee County.

Bowling did play for Owsley Behind the plate. Owsley made several errors that in the end di cost the game... Lee Co. hit the ball well as always but the game would have been A LOT CLOSER without the errors.

Owsley is going to have to cut down on the errors, there's no doubt about that.

But their hitting must have also cost them tonight also. They have only generated 1 run against Lee in two games.

I am in the process of contacting KY Sports Medicine right now for Bowling. I truly believe he just stained it. He did catch last night, and was just a little sore. He knows he has more important things than a Lee vs Owsley game. The kid will play at the next level. Thanks for the concern.

Why does Lee Co only play once or twice a week?

Coach Combs may be going to fill some games in later, I don't really know. But according to KHSAA website's scoreboard, they only have 8 games scheduled in the month of April. I was looking at some other teams schedules, and some of them have as many as 16 games scheduled in April.

Lee has had a couple of rainouts, and I believe that there are some rainout days built into 56th district schedule because of the seeding and the need to get all the games in.

I believe that is correct. Lee will be making up 2 rainout games, and the 56th tries to get all of their seeded games in by the end of April if possible.
