Final per the scoreboard.

Special night for our four-year Senior manager Zach "Boomer" Born, who was surprised with a uniform in the pre-game and told to suit up.

Zach hit a free-throw to join the legions of Mustangs before him to etch their names into the Brossart varsity scoring list.

In case you are wondering Zach has been listed on our KHSAA eligibility sheet throughout the season in anticipation of an opportunity such as this.

congrats to boomer the crowd loved him

Any stats ?

Brossart up 18 at half then blow the doors off in 2nd half with a 12 -0 run. Too much for the smaller calvary christian cougar team.

Any stats ?

Mustangs placed 10 scorers in the book, led by Jackson Crawford with 18, Spencer Hackworth and Jake Zai 11 each. Wade scored 16 for Calvary nad Zint added 11. Sorry no first names for the Cougars.

Mustangs led 30-13 after one, and 53-26 at halftime. BB up 77-34 after 3Qs and both teams scored 1 point in the fourth quarter. Mustangs improve to 10-8, and unless we can find some competition for this weekend, will await Bracken County at home next Tuesday night.

That is so awesome! Thanks to Coach Code and the Mustang nation for giving this young man the chance to suit up! A memory he will cherish for years to come.

It looks like we did just that.

I couldn't be happier that "Boomer" was given this opportunity.

Nice touch by the always classy Mustang program ...

Both of my boys played while Boomer was manager. Both are thrilled for this dedicated young man. Way to go Zach and hats off to coach Code and the rest of the Stangs. Saw a video of his bucket , nice crowd on hand to see this wonderful moment! Mustang maniacs went crazy!
