January 16, 201511 yr He should be able to go pro but he won't sit out will only hurt his stock in a day and age where most RBs are round 2 at the earliest now. I wouldn't think so either. The basis was that RB from Georgia? or SC? who tore his knee up a couple years ago. Even with his insurance he lost millions. I remember the same story line going around with Clowney and his position was not nearly as injury prone.
January 16, 201511 yr Interesting decision, I don't think I could have passed up the chance to strike while the buzz is strong. It will probably work out best for him in the long run, I hope so anyway. That could have been right but I believe that most of the NFL thoughts on him would be his lack of experience in making reads, etc.. I heard one of the analyst on that comment on how many recievers that he didn't see in time, missed the read of a defense several times. I know that there is absolutely no doubt on his arm strength, size, etc.. I just have to wonder how many teams would take him now and / or how high he would go. In jmo he would benefit much more in waiting just for those reasons, would go much higher. After all, remember he has only been a starter, had significant playing time in three games. Jones is going to get much better.
