LC was up 5 with just a little over a min to go. Great effort by the Wildcats by not giving up. Dalton had 33 for LC.

Calling it now. Buckhorn will win their first round district game and go to region.

I watched this one on Wymt2. Buckhorn snatched victory from the jaws of defeat. Lawrence had the lead and the ball with about 30 seconds left in the game and Buckhorn stole the ball twice and scored in a matter of 10 seconds.

I really like Buckhorn ' s coach, John Noble. This is his 13th season as the Wildcat ' s coach and his teams are usually in the top 5 of the region's best. His teams always give him 100%. The 'Horn is not a big school but Noble 's teams always play competitive.

 

The TV announcers tonight said that Noble has been a semi-private wrestler for many years. He does it in his spare time. A good Saturday night for him would be to win a big basketball game and then relax afterwards by throwing a couple of rival wrestlers out of the ring, lol.
