January 14, 201511 yr The position of Jailer needs to be done away with across the board in KY. The sheriff should be responsible for the jails. There is no reason to have the 2 positions.

I will disagree, only because our Jailer (jail) and sheriff's office is in the same building, and inmates escape almost weekly. I think a third postion is needed, "In Cell Retention Specialist"
