Some might say "oxymoron".

C'mon guys...Illinois is a doormat in the Big Ten...sort of like Vandy and UK in the SEC. How they got into a bowl game is a Festivus miracle. Does the Zaxby's Heart of Dallas Bowl count as a bowl game? Seriously...when Illinois and La Tech are in a bowl game, there are too many bowl games.

I like the fact that you have to have a winning record to get a bowl game. Some 6-6 teams get one but some do not. Pretty sure both of these were 7-5. I have no problem with them getting a bowl game.

Basically, they have so many bowl games now, they have to find SOMEBODY to play in them...but really, the Zaxby's Heart of Dallas Bowl? I have a hard time saying that without laughing.
