I know this may be legitimate due to personal reasons or it may not. That's two in a week mid-season. I am old so may not remember much but that seems unusual. Correct? or am I just not remembering in year's past?

I would agree - unusual.

Very unusual. A coach usually at least finishes a season or does it well before the season starts if they are going to resign.
