Camryn and TJ played against Pulaski and looked awful. If East makes shots, they'll be tough to beat. They play a style of high risk, high reward. If they shoot a high percentage, they will be tough to beat. That is why it will be important to get the top seed in that district. The top 3 can go either way. You want to play Burgin in that district. You may be sent home early if you don't.

Not sure why Jones was out but it sure appears he's back! Kid can play.

I was told Southwestern came out flat and was overlooking East Jessamine. East Jessamine is back at full strength and bounced back nicely after getting mollywhopped by Lincoln County.

 

This game shows us all that this year in the 12th Region you better bring it every night or you could get embarassed.

 

I think Southwestern is the better team.

 

I think East Jessamine is better than anticipated when at full strength.

 

I'm not sure I can call Southwestern the best team in the 12th Region today but they are still a top 4 team for sure.

 

Looks to me that East Jessamine is the better team. They convincingly beat the mighty warriors by 15. That's called getting whooped.

Was there, this was the first game that East was at full strength with Camryn Jones and TJ Ross (both starters) back.

 

East led from the get go, had a great gameplan and players came out and played. Jones was the best player on the court today, SW just couldn't guard him.

 

Think SW might have been a bit hungover after crushing Wayne County yesterday. East was crushed by Lincoln Co. last night as well (but without Jones).

 

East doesn't have many traditional bigs, but the guys down low made their presence known. Battled down low with one of the best centers in the region.

 

Southwestern's offense looked out of whack. Was just a 4 out, 1 in for pretty much the whole game, and East's 3-2 matchup zone was the perfect answer.

 

Simply put Southwestern got crushed by the better team.

I saw this game, this was not a big upset as some may think. Although East did shoot the ball well, Southwest on any given night could not guard the 3 main players for east, (unless they have better help side man or play a zone) I think it will be between Boyle and Lincoln county to win the 12th, both teams have a good mixture of special and role players.

Simply put Southwestern got crushed by the better team.
