Few more. Of the three classes we are talking about in 2014, 3A had the weakest top 10. 1A had the strongest top ten.

2A had the strongest top 5. 3A the weakest top 5.

 

Don't quite agree... I think 1A had the strongest Top 5 (by a small margin over 2A)

The Lit Ratings...though with an asterisk due to not counting Finals outcomes... paints the picture that 1A is clearly the weakest class. Once again doomed by the teams 9-15.. but not even ahead of 3A in Top 5 or Top 10. Lit suggests 2A and 3A are very close... but 2A has the slight edge in each breakdown.

Those are some pretty good stats. For me 2A was better 1-10 than either of the other two. 1A came in second 1-10 with a heavy top 5. 3A although it had a couple of good teams on top just were not quite the class of the other two. 2A was deep up top. Most of it came from the west, and therefore not much coverage. Not going to get a lot of love in the west with most of the national coverage being in the Louisville/ Lexington area.
