Thought some of the messages about winning, competition and National exposure reeked of familiarity for a couple of KY schools that come to mind. I though the narrator said 3-6 season...I guess, especially with that schedule, my lord.

Tough situation for alot if not most of those kids, can't even imagine

3-6 without their D1 quarterback.

I would be anxious to see how they do in college academically. I think its fine to encourange and sell the football I would love it, but I dont see the education there as legit, online all day, not sure if that is conducive for developing good students.

Some kids thrive in that situation.

Some kids thrive in that situation.

Yes they do. So true.

I do not buy into the fact that an online education is better than an interactive, diverse education, you may thrive in reading, and retaining some information, but your experience and abilities you learn from the other methods are left undevloped, which for at risk kids are even more important. Just my two cents.

Every school district in America has online classes, and programs that are strictly online/virtual classes. The most important aspect is giving these students the opportunity to better themselves. All of their graduates are still eligible at the college level. These online programs are researched based programs that have data, that have proven them to be successful. Now all of this does not mean everyone would be successful in this situation, but for these kids, I think it is the best possible situation.
