If true, certainly an odd time for the new temporary AD to step in.

Sounds odd for me to be asking this but who is the assistant coach who will undoubtedly have to step in?

No correlation.

No correlation.

I don't mean it is related, just awkward for the temp AD to have to address the issue. Suspension requires an AD to apply for reinstatement if I remember correctly.

Last night with the ejection it was the new assistant coach, Eaton (forgive me for forgetting his first name) that took over. Not sure anyone knows who it will actually be come the next three games. I would've thought Mark Lucas, as he and Nancy were there last year & know the team ins/outs the best. But that's just how I assumed it would be. Sometimes I assume way too much! ;)

So what are the options - there's Eaton, Jv Coach Lucas, or that clown freshmen coach Owens? Think that they would be safe with either of the first two options.

wow se7ens, that a way to show class. "that clown" wonder if you even know the young man. Truly hope you are not affiliated with the first class institution. Having graduated 2 from there and never having a daughter play for coach Owens, I can still say that's a little uncalled for.

Not trying to be classless, just hope he's not the option they go for.

MIchael Eaton is more than capable of serving as head coach for the interim. He was Brossart's varsity assistant for the past couple of years after being an assistant on the Louisville women's staff. He also assisted Coach Kevin Bundy with the Brossart core AAU team that played into the National Finals Round in Orlando last summer.

I take offense with you calling Tyler Owens a "clown." Former assistant on the boys side at Lexington LaFayette. Has served as a scout in the Brossart girls program for the past few seasons, and is a knowledable basketball mind - Far more qualified than the average parent or fan. You owe T.O. an apology.

No dog in this fight at all, but calling someone a "clown" IS classless. Would you say it to his face? Probably not, but easy when you hide behind nameless symbol. By the way, I have NO idea who this coach is.

He must leave the rubber nose and big shoes at home because I've not ever seen him as this "clown" you say he is. Honestly can't say I have ever seen or paid attention to his coaching of the freshman girls but in his interactions with our family he has been nothing but pleasant and respectful.
