I have heard the same. Very troubling.

I couldn't agree more.

Interesting.. Stoops doesn't seem like the kind of guy that's going to let outsiders dictate his team. Personally I believe Towles is better than Phillips. Barker, I have no idea, but I can see why the staff may want to redshirt him so that he has 4 years of eligibility when UK would be in better shape to compete than this year.

If in fact what you say is true, Stoops won't be at UK long. He's not the kind of guy thats going to let people who aren't on his staff dictate how he coaches. That said, at this point its just a rumor it appears.

I think all 3 quarterbacks Barker, Towles and Phillips are great quarterbacks. I also think that they all possess different qualities as quarterbacks. For all the griping we have heard about Neal Brown's playcalling it HAS to be noted that Towles and Phillips are not his quarterbacks and that he convinced Barker to come to UK when it was completely clear to everyone that Barker was not coming to UK to play for Joker. That cannot be discounted.

I was troubled when I was told what I was told about the quarterback situation at UK but the more I was told the more everything made sense. Yes, it is all rumor at this point but no one is going to be able to convince me that UK's woes on offense were Neal Brown's fault.

Doubt the problem will ever change if no one is willing to spill the beans..
