November 16, 201411 yr Sickening. FSU is the luckiest team in football. For my money they don't belong in the playoff. They've beat no one and have looked awful. One loss Mississippi State has a much better resume as do many others. In all honesty is Ohio State's resume not better? Bad loss early but infinitely better win that FSU has. Should have lost this one and a few others this year. Glad the Canes made it a game. Just don't have enough players or experience in key positions.

This is funny in light of the fact I got "coulda/shoulda/woulda'd" in the Alabama thread and said I'd been hearing that all year. Yeah, they probably should have taken an L. But they didn't. And yeah, OSU's win over Michigan State is better than any win FSU has. But get real - a loss to a team that is at the bottom of a conference FSU is likely going to win trumps that big time. You've made it harder on me to post this than some other games on here, but great game, great effort by Miami, best of luck moving forward. The Canes have improved all season long.

And this wasn't the luckiest game. Remember Clemson? It would be easier to stomach without Winston in there but good grief. It's sickening to watch.

I remember our Heisman QB not playing in that game. Think it would have taken luck if he hadn't been an idiot? I never said they haven't had luck, but you know what, at this point, it's not a fluke, it's a trend. Maybe fortune is smiling on them until they get to a game where someone can really beat the crap out of them and embarrass them. I just know at this point it's happened this year repeatedly and at some point you just have to accept that it happens. As for points left on the board, did FSU not turn it over in Miami territory a couple of times too?
