Not particularly. If Garrard gets past Bourbon (BIG IF), Estill or Russell would be next. Estill would be a home game, but they've won once already this year in Lancaster. Russell would be a road game at a very difficult place to play. No easy matchup for any of the four teams next week.

I was listing non-district games. 3A has been the most up and down class all year and saying they were ranked in the top 10 is not a massive feat in today's 6 class system. Mason was ranked 6th when they came to Russell. Rankings can be misleading. I prefer to look at bodies of work and Estill's is not as impressive to me as Russell's. Just my thoughts.

My bad, I thought you were just listing best opponents. And I agree that Russell's non-district slate is better, but I do think Estill will give Russell a very tough game Friday night. Both games in Region III should be very good, actually.
