Not a lot to say about this one other than Coach Salmons had his JV in during the 2nd qtr., JV-Fr., everyone tat dressed playing in the 2nd half. Also, in a CLASS Move in the 2nd half, on the td's scored the Rams "took a knee" on the XP. as not to score.

I want to give a huge :thumb::thumb::thumb::thumb::thumb: to the Phelps football players and coaches. Phelps made an approx. 3 1/2 - 4 hr. drive to get here, with only 14 players to a game they probably didn't want to play at all = The Phelps Football Team Deserve praise for playing with everything they had and NEVER Quitting.

The Phelps players played hard every play. Hats off to them.

I wish the Phelps team a safe trip back, hope they don't run into any bad weather.

Also, I didn't hear any follow up on the Phelps kid that was injured. I hope that he's o.k., nothing serious.

Great game tonight. Hats off to Phelps. I don't like this kind of game at all, but it's how it has to be unfortunately.

Hopefully the Rams came away with no one injured. Just another danger for a game that imo should never be played. I am pretty sure that has been discussed just a couple of times on here before. :sssh: :isurrender:

I know but when it literally could had been close to if not over 100, even with the running clock, backups on JJV team / Freshmen had outscored the opponent 22-0. Coach Salmons had the Freshman team "taking a knee" on extra points after they scored as to not score those.

 

 

Again, I am not trying to slam Phelps, they played hard and with class. Just that this 4/1 matchup is absolutely ridiculous.

On to the school is Westwood and their new player / players ?? One never knows.
