Yeah but they help with cumulative fatigue. It will be hard to get used to them

Rebounders can enter the lane upon release of the ball by the free throw shooter.

 

Any idea when it changed to when the ball hit the rim? My wife graduated in 1990 and it was on release then. There was several years when we didn't keep up with HS basketball. When we started attending again, it was when it hits the rim. That has always irritated my wife. She is glad it is going back to the release.

 

Going strictly off of memory here, but I think it was between 1997-99.
