World Series. Great pitching, really good defense, timely hitting, and someone different stepping up each night. If you can't get into this WS you should give up on baseball.

And spare me the "boring" chatter. It has been proven many, many times that the "action" between a football game and baseball game are very similar. Just because the baseball action isn't attempting to decapitate someone shouldn't make it boring.

Do not confuse "action" with "entertaining" which lends itself to a lot more subjectivity.

For the record I have watched quite a bit of this World Series for the underdog value. On Saturday night I was flipping between it, college football, and a show I had recorded on DVR. No kidding here, the show was an hour (say 45 minutes because I forwarded through commercials), and the baseball game progressed from the top of the 3rd with 2 outs to the bottom of the 4th with 2 outs. I do not care how you slice it, that is a problem. Just too many options out there to choose from to invest that much time in to a slower game.

Rooting for Game 7 for the sake of baseball and the drama of it all. I want to see Madison come in for another inning or two.
