Who do you think wins and why?

I might try and make it to this game.

They have 1 common opponent in Newport. Newport had the game against Mason won until a terrible call late gave Mason the ball on the 3 allowing them to score with 17 ticks remaining. Newport came out flat against Scott and got flat out dominated. With that being said, I have to give the edge to Scott.

Scott looking to finish 7-2 for the season, and build some momentum for the playoffs. It's senior night, and likely, barring a miracle the last home game the seniors will ever play. This small group of seniors have come a long way and are experiencing success for the first time as key contributors, as they've been behind a talented group their entire high school career. I may get a little choked up during this one.

And what's the terrible call your referring to?

The late hit out of bounds which was nothing more than a tackle, which took place in bounds and continued out of bounds.

They tackled him into the fence I've watched it several times and it was the right call.

Potential close game with Mason's QB back and healthy. Weak Mason schedule could be a misleading 7-2 record. Would expect Scott big boy schedule and senior night might have them prepared and ramped for a big win.

Mason County beat Scott last year, jumping out to an early big lead, and then holding Scott off in the second half. Having this game at home really helps Scott, and I think they'll be looking to build on the momentum of last week's win over Conner. A win here against a solid Mason County team, gives them some momentum heading into the playoffs.

Mason County comes up big on defense late in the 4th.

Mason County 31

Scott 27

This is similar to last year. Both had a common opponent in Newport in 2013. Mason wins a close one against Newport and Scott beats Newport by 50. Scott was feeling pretty confident, as was I, going into the Mason County game until Mason came out and punched Scott in the mouth. IMO, Mason dominated the 2013 game. They were very physical and well coached. I've learned to not look past Mason County. I hope Scott has as well. There's no outcome in this game that would surprise me.
