October 26, 201411 yr Author I guess we will see. At the end of the day all that matters is winning and getting in the playoffs. Which right now the Ravens have 5 wins, so they are on the right track. In the NFL any win is a good win. Who you have or haven't beat has no bearing on what will happen in the playoffs. Its all about getting in, and right now the Ravens have beat who they are suppose to beat and lost three games against two teams that many felt will be playoff teams in the Colts and Bengals. With all that said I hope you are right about the Ravens because that means they will completely fall off and we wont have to worry about them when it comes to trying to win the division. It was more barbs at the Raven fans who LOVE to make the Bungle's jokes. Well, that's fine, it can be the Bungles all they want, but how gawd awful must the Ravens be if that is the case....
October 26, 201411 yr Author On a side note the Steelers are playing like the Super Bowl Champs. I am hopeful that the ground opens up and swallows the Steelers all the way to Hade's! I won't miss them one bit...
October 26, 201411 yr Author I believe I saw people say the Bengals touchdown was a bad play call. However after seeing the replays, I don't see how it was bad. The Bengals went four wide receivers and the Ravens spread out to adjust to it. So it left the middle open for the QB sneak. I don't know why more teams dont spread teams out when the use the QB sneak. I agree completely. Teams do spread on the goal line for the QB sneak, but it's High School teams. The Bengals proved it can work at the Pro level as well.
October 26, 201411 yr I stand corrected, but I still contend they WERE the most overrated 2 loss team in the league. They have five wins, only one against a team with a winning record, thus, I stand by my assertion of the Ravens. Or, let the Ravens fans say that is wrong and that the Bengals are just better than them. I'm fine either way! Not sure what your rant is about. Neither one of these two teams are very good and if you want proof of that simply look at what the colts did today against a bad steelers team and what Jax did the week after the Bengals tied them. This is division is not good so to bash one of the teams today just makes no sense. Ravens and Bengals are not very good teams and this division is not very good period.
October 26, 201411 yr Now as far as the #1 WR talk. It's AJ end of discussion. Anyone who thinks its anyone else I need to know so when it comes to any football talk I can immediately put them on my ignore list.

I assume you meant the Bengals tied the Panthers not the Jags, and isn't what the Steelers are doing today to the Colts help the division and not show the division as bad? Every team in the division looks to have a winning record for the season after today. Even though the Bengals play has been very inconsistent so far this year. The Bengals still have the 3rd best record in the whole AFC at this point...

I cant believe it was even mentioned that someone else may be the #1 receiver.

Read my posts, and you will see it is NOT a rant, but a response to all the spewing of the Raven's fans. Where in any of my posts did I claim the Bengals were good???????????????

I don't know why more teams dont spread teams out when the use the QB sneak. It was a horrible play call. If you want to run that play you run it in 3rd and goal from the 1 foot line not 4th and game from the 2. Now ow as far as Dalton's 2nd int, the mistake he made was throwing it into right coverage like that. Now that was 2 turnovers by Dalton on 2 co security plays and if you remember the next play he almost made it 3 turnovers on 3 consecutive plays but fortunate for us the Ravens DB dropped the int. When Dalton was doing his best to hand the game to thee Ravens it dawned on me what his nickname should be. First thing I thought if was Mike Matisow (sp). For any poker player they will know mike as a great poker player who has one thing going for him, and that is he is always good for a blowup which cost him the tournament Everytime. He he plays great poker through most of the tourney and then has brain farts and self destructs. That is what Dalton looked like today. He had such a great game and then all of a sudden he has brain cramps and self destructs.
October 26, 201411 yr Author ^ Dalton only had one INT As much as Andy drives us all nuts,he only has 4 INT's this season. I have not looked, but it sure seems like he had more than 4 at the mid-way point of his first three seasons. So, this is a much more "controlled" Dalton than years past. He has 4 INT's coming in three games, and the Bengals have not lost any of those three games. So, it can be argued that Andy is not the problem this year.

Where in any of my posts did I claim the Bengals were good??????????????? I took it as you saying they are overrated and the bengals are much better because they won. Sorry if I misinderstood. My point was if the bengals are so good then they shouldn't have to come from behind both games to beat a bad Ravens team.
October 26, 201411 yr ^ Dalton only had one INT They ruled the 2nd as a int on TV that is what I was goung by. either way it was Dalton's fault for throwing that pass where he did IMO.

He had such a great game and then all of a sudden he has brain cramps and self destructs. Disagree. They had the defense spread out and it left the middle open, hence the reason why it worked. Now as far as Dalton as I mentioned in an earlier post, I was right there throwing a fit after missed TD throw to Little and then the fumble. However at the game live and even after seeing the replay at home. The 2nd interception I don't put on him. Your QB has to be able to fit the ball into tight windows sometimes, and he did that. The second defender had no bearing on the play. Sanu had it, then allowed the DB to get his hands on it and rip it out. I had no problem with that play by Dalton. However the other ones you mentioned I do agree with.
