October 24, 201411 yr Thank you all so much! It's been a nice but quiet day hanging out with my wife and my grandson. Mostly recuperating from a great week with my good, good friend swamprat and his better half in Gatlinburg then a very fun night last night at the Houfbrau with some of BGP's very best, wish many more of you wonderful people could have been there too! I'm touched that so many of you thought of me today and took the time to wish me happy birthday, it means more than any of you could know. Some of you I've never had the pleasure to meet, others I've been fortunate to meet and talk to, some more often than others. I've made some great and lasting friendships with quite a few of you, something I am forever grateful for. You all are like family to me, a true blessing from God. I met my best friend on this board in Birdsfan, a guy that was always there for me, a guy that never judged me but instead just accepted me for who I am. For this I am forever thankful for theguru's wonderful site, BGP. Over the years because of this board I have made other very dear friends in people like swapmrat and his wife, Mr and Mrs RebelK, True blue (and gold), theguru, cammando, SportsGuy41017, mexitucky, LN and Henry, rockmom, Watusi, Lawnboy13, ADopted ADmiral, nWo, PP92, GT, Jim Schue, TTC and so many others. If I forgot to name you it's because I'm simply overwhelmed but please know I'm grateful for everyone of you. This is a special place and you all are special people to me.
October 25, 201411 yr Hope you had a Rockin' Birthday RTS!...It bites that I could not attend last night, but I'll make sure that I attend the next. You're a cool dude and one of the main reasons that I started feeling more comfortable on this site after so many years of staying out of the picture. Your party last year had a big impact on me to just go ahead and let my hair down. The more I do the more I dig it, and it's really been an unexpected surprise, and it's a pleasure to chat it up all the time out here and feel welcome by so many of the cool people on BGP. It no longer feels virtual, and scary, and has come to feel pretty dang real. Not a bad thing at all in this new age. Thanks again for helping to kick start me. October 25, 201411 yr Oh, another cat on BGP that has been so cool to me and I consider a friend is Clyde. Thanks for the talk last night, had to get a little of that off my chest. Regardless of how out of the norm I may have sounded, it was nice to know you didn't think I was...well....you know.
