Figured Lewis would be ahead of Boyd this year. These girls have been playing together on varsity since their 8th grade and freshmen years. Anyone have player rankings? Thanks again.

I think the logic to the people out of the area is Blazer beat East Carter the 3rd and final time last season when it mattered most, then advanced to the Final 4 in the state.

 

I'm guessing the local perspective is that since Carter beat them 2 outta 3, you give the nod to Carter who returns the majority of their team.

Kittens have won 3 titles in a row, and have a great nucleus returning. They are #1 until another team takes away the title. Coach Bradley will get the job done again. He's a winner.

cannot it believe stickler from east is not in the top ten

The one thing about the 16th Region girls basketball players...there are a lot of good ones. I am not sure you can argue any of the top ten, perhaps, order...yet, there are a lot of deserving girls that there just isn't room for in the top ten. You can't put 15 players in ten spots. I will say this...it should be an entertaining year in girls basketball in the 16th.

Still think stickler has proven over the years she deserves to be there, not putting anyone else down, just trying to give her the recognition she deserves
