Anybody have any info on the scrimmages at Russell last night?

Henry Clay came to the Fort today to play Highlands. Teams played two 20 minute halves. The first half was dominated by the Birds winning 41-21. They played extremely well and the defensive issues they had in the first scrimmage...all went away. They played excellent defense in the first half against a talented and very quick Henry Clay team. HHS needs to improve rebounding and this team will be solid.

The second half saw the coaches open up the rosters a little more. I can't speak for HC because I don't know their players, but I know HHS played 13 kids in the 2nd half. HC regrouped and looked much better in the 2nd half...winning the second half 42-35.

Overall a great scrimmage for both teams. I think each team was able to help the other identify some areas of opportunity and that's exactly what scrimmages are for! Both teams should have good seasons. Good luck to HC
