.....and we are back into the minimum wage discussion. Lots of talk about that thus far in the debate.

McConnell believes we should pull out of the Obamacare root and branch.

Medicaid expansion and continuing Kinect is a state decision whether to support or keep going - McConnell

Talking about ACA reduced reimbursements to medical institutions. Well aware of this one myself being in the healthcare area of myself. McConnell says this is leading to less services provided by places like Home Health, etc.

ALG wants to streamline the ACA and wants to keep Kinect and the Medicaid expansion.

McConnell says EPA issues two regulations are killing the coal industry and "trying to shut it down". Taking about carbon emissions and the like.

ALG says she is trying to push laws through that will protect the health of our coal miners that McConnell hasn't taken an active role in. Black lung protection, spouse/widow benefits, etc.

ALG believes in climate change but believes we should take a "balanced" approach that protects coal jobs but helps provide clean coal.

ALG wants to really push for clean coal to be brought to Kentucky.

McConnell didn't really address the climate change question directly but says he will protect Kentucky coal miners and their jobs which more or less answers it.
