gold sunrise Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 Defending Class 6A champ Scott County beats Henry Clay 38-14 for its 22nd consecutive victory.
hrcarrier Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 If Scott County's first string played all game, it would have definitely been worse. The Cardinals looked impressive.

hrcarrier Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 (edited) Think they could repeat this year. Based on what I watched tonight, absolutely. I was very surprised with their defense. Offensively, they are loaded in the backfield. Guy and Price looked really good at RB (if I have their names right) and McKee made some nice deep passes. Edited October 11, 2014 by hrcarrier
GNGsports Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 38-0 halftime. SCHS forced three turnovers and held the state's rushing leaders to just 58 yards rushing (31 one of which came on Henry Clay's first play from scrimmage) in the first half. Hope the James kid for Clay is going to be OK! Took a big hit in the second quarter and never returned.
Randy Parker Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 I thought this would be a lot closer. Impressive win for the Cardinals.
gamebreaker Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 (edited) I thought this would be a lot closer. Impressive win for the Cardinals. Understatement lol wow total beat Scott County junior defensive back Keeshon Brent said he and his teammates heard “a lot of talk” from Henry Clay on social media leading up to the game. “We showed ‘em who we are, and our good Cardinal ‘D’ brought it to’ ‘em. We showed ‘em who the real dogs are.” Edited October 11, 2014 by gamebreaker
