Old Defender Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 Dunbar has played well their last few matches. Their back line has been a work in process but it seems to be improving at the right time. But for an unfortunate keeper error against Henry Clay, they would still be undefeated against in state opponents. St. Henry always plays tough against Dunbar. I expect a close match. I will go with Dunbar winning 2-1.
groinpull Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 Interesting matchup. I believe whoever comes out of the 9th region will play the Lexington area region winner so I'm assuming local teams will be watching this closely. Surely either Dunbar or HC will come out of that region. Traveling to Lexington for a relatively late weeknight game (8 pm) seems a little odd to me.......may be tough to win. St. Henry has improved as the season has gone along but still, I'll go with Dunbar 3-1.
hoops5 Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 Game cancelled due to weather. Rescheduled for Wednesday at 7pm.
Old Defender Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 Dunbar's players received a message this morning that said the match will NOT be played tonight.
WatThe Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 Dunbar's players received a message this morning that said the match will NOT be played tonight. Game tonight cancelled because of "lack of refs".
bothways Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 Not surprising if they have 20 people hurt and this night was already full of games. Unfortunate but not surprising.

bothways Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 20 refs, someone mentioned it in a post on here but I can't remember where?
Yellow Card Posted October 8, 2014 Author Posted October 8, 2014 Twenty people hurt? Someone mentioned this in another post... I think the comment was meant to be cheeky.
bothways Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 Someone mentioned this in another post... I think the comment was meant to be cheeky. I actually think they were serious about the number of refs hurt. I'm seeing the same guys over and over again no matter where I go.
w2848 Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 Well they're not hurt from doing anything strenuous on the field... Most of them don't seem fit enough to keep up with play, never mind get hurt. Maybe their feelings are hurt from reading all the remarks about bad reffing on this forum.
Offsides Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 I actually think they were serious about the number of refs hurt. I'm seeing the same guys over and over again no matter where I go. They do all dress the same. Well, except for the hip hop ref we've had several times. No flat billed hat, but definitely gangsta.

Now that you mention it... you might be right... it seems like there is only about 5 crews in total. One dressed in Yellow, one in Blue, one in Red, one in Black and one in Green.
