NDA 6-0. A parent finally whispered in his ear and he stopped. Rest of the Cooper fans were very classy with the exception of the one student. Senior night at Cooper and they honored their 3 seniors as well as announcing the NDA seniors and presenting them with a carnation. Field out there is very rough. Would not want to play there after a few more football games.

Saw it at Grant County in 08 for softball.

I have been to a lot of senior nights. Pretty standard to recognize the opposing seniors now a days.

Highlands played Woodford County at WC for their senior night. They recognized the HHS seniors with nice "H" reusable water cups and candy. Classy move, agreed!

NDA plays CC in their senior day on Saturday. I'm sure there will be a recognition of the CC seniors if it follows what has been done in years past.

Not defending the actions of this student but I felt that it was said as a joke... a very poor one at that.

 

I was sitting right behind several other Cooper students, who called him by name and also chose to use the word "idiot" in the same sentence.

 

From what I understand, from the kids, the person that whispered in his ear is actually affiliated with the school... I hope that they were.

I can tell you that Highlands also recognized the Cooper seniors when they played them on their Senior Night last season.
