The herd is thinning out.

 

This will make All Star Baseball happy to hear...but I think Estill County may deserve a little love.

 

They have rollled bad teams..but their loss to LCA isn't looking too bad. They have a great player with their QB. Will be interesting to see if they can push Bourbon County a little in a few weeks.

Would like to know how far Monroe fell after the loss to Adair. I still think Monroe can give some teams a bit of trouble if they get some of their players healthy near the end of the season and in time for their playoff run. But as far as your ranking of these 5 teams I think you may be spot on right now.

I think Fleming County could be in this group. I know they haven't beaten anyone great but look at their common opponents with Mason, scores are very similar. Their only loss was to a very good Lucasville Valley team by 3 (missed 3 extra points).

Monroe has health and heart issues! Six starters out for season and some of these kids think this game is not 85% heart. By no means I am knocking these kids, just hope they wake up before this season gets out of reach and they take it with them through life...

 

If they play to their potential they will wake some people up later in playoffs. Time will tell, this week playing worst rival they have in Glasgow.... Beating them brings everyone around here back to 1-0.???

TS I know that things are not going the way Monroe expected and the injuries have wrecked havoc on Monroe. If they are not playing with heart then its not like the Monroe teams of the past there has never been a team that didn't play with heart there. If that is the issue then there's no coaching that either they have it or they don't. My thoughts are still going back a few years ago when they lost a bunch of district games to Glasgow, Metcalfe and Green County yet still put a deep run in the playoffs and went further than any of those teams. Therefore I don't think we can ever count them out of mixing things up once playoffs come around.
