You are right, I had forgotten about that and congrats again on the 2010 game win.

Should I be remembering that one right, I believe that was with the coach that resigned - or to that effect and took job at another school (forgot the coaches name and job left for)? At any rate and if you liked the guy this is not meant to slam you - I believe that coach knew and coached the option offense very well and that is the Only thing nice or complimentary that I have to say about him. Again, I think that was the game that when the final horn sounded several GC Players ran over and started taunting the Raceland fans, cheerleaders and team. The GC Coach was basically with them and/or promoting that behavior bc he was in the vicinity and did absolutely nothing to attempt to stop it. I understand about kids doing this, they had some personal issues with some of the Ram players and as they say kids will be kids, I put the blame on the coaches. Was pretty classless, jmo but that's in the past.

 

I know and have a lot of friends that are GC fans, former GC payers from all sports and have coached with and against from years ago. Good People :thumb: From what all I have heard that GC has an excellent coach now that runs things in the right way. I am glad for the people, kids and fans at GCHS that things definitely seem on the rise with GC Football.

Coup, you are o.k. :thumb: - we can identify with taking jabs (all in good fun) with fans of other teams. When Raceland / LCA were in the same dist./class the Ram fans and LCA fans banter on here was entertaining :popcorn:, almost legendary. :lol2:

Dang it, I know Coach Jackson personally, and misspoke when I inserted his name. I guess I correlated Coach Jackson with Coach Copley due to their stent at Pikeville together.

 

Nonetheless, Coach Copley is who I meant.
