Good job Pioneers!

I would be interested to know how many of SK's players play both sides of the ball.

Are you a Ryle supporter by chance? I cannot speak for certain about this particular game, but generally speaking SK has 50 - 60 kids playing freshman ball and there are typically no two way players. In fact, many positions are shared.

Heard Ryle used only 15 kids against Lex Cath. If that is true, I'd say parent revolt is in order.

HA nope

I was at the game and they have zero players that start on both sides of the ball. They do shuffle players in and out especially on the defensive line. Several O-lineman saw significant snaps on the defensive side of the ball. No skill players go both ways. With special teams close to 30+ players see the field every game.

It was evident because they seemed they were not gassed like CC.

With the heat it definitely was a factor.

We call that better coaching in Independence. :D

On a side note I really liked CC's QB. Big strong armed power running QB. Seems to be the trend in Campbell County.

And you wonder why you get on everyones nerves.

And it was just two years ago he would have driven the bus to take Marksberry out of town.

Thanks 4luvofthegame...That QB is my son..He had a rough game last night and felt that he really let his team down...I totally expect a different kid for our next game coming up...

Football is a true team sport I thought he was a standout. There will be plenty more opportunities for him to win games. Tell him to keep his chin up and keep working hard.

BTW welcome to the site.

I kinda stumbled across it today looking for scores of the other freshman games. Not sure I am glad I found it or not, if someone in turn bashes my son, I may wish I hadnt found it.
