Agree or Disagree?

Remember the run Etown had. And LC...

I think Lawrence will be better than Pike Central by years end but at this time I have no problem with Pike Central being ahead.

There is just very little data available to make completely accurate rankings right now. The cream will rise to the top and it will be interesting to see how it all eventually shakes out.

As for these five, they can probably be interchanged with the bottom three or four of the current Top 10 without too much argument.

I agree...six through fifteen could go in any order so far for there seasons. Three more weeks and the writing will be on the wall for the top ten! And thus 11-15...

I personally don't know if there is any difference at all between teams 5-15.

I agree with what others have said.

There are about 5 teams who are all the same team to me right now. Pretty good offense, pretty good defense, solid coaching (Wayne County, Garrard County, Monroe County, Henry County, and Mason County)

There are two teams with a single exemplary facet, but big questions on the other side of the ball (Pike Central= Stellar Offense, South Warren= Stellar Defense)

There are two teams who are showing extreme promise, but are still a mystery due to the weakness of their competition (Lawrence County and Etown)

This. I believe by the time teams enter into the district portion of their schedule we will have a better grasp on the rankings. I can't recall a time when 3A was so balanced (minus Belfry, who seems to be head-and-shoulders above the field).

And to this point I look at the "second tier" of teams as well.

Bell County has looked really good, but the jury is still out because Washington County is awful and South Pitt(TN) appears to be a bit down. That South Pitt win was impressive following the game, but then South Pitt comes out and gets stomped again the next week by a team not considered a powerhouse.

Central has played two 6A teams... they were blown out by Manual...but I think possibly every team in 3A would take it on the chin to Manual. Then they gave a pretty sound Lafayette team all they wanted.

Bourbon County beat a decent Montgomery County but struggled to do so until late. They were then getting steam rolled by a very good Warren Central it seemed, before they settled in and really equated themselves very well.

Paducah Tilghman I think is closer to the mega cluster of 3A parody than the top...but they have played two tough games and they also get a little benefit of the doubt because they are adjusting to an entirely new system.

Corbin got steamrolled by a very good Pulaski County before eeking out a win vs. Southwestern. That may prove to be a quality win, but right now we dont know with Southwestern.
