August 28, 201412 yr I just think Florida State becomes a victim of their own success. Maybe it's just me, but I don't think that we've heard the last of Jameis headlines. Those and the weight of being the defending champions are going to be pretty heavy. Better teams than them haven't carried it, and even though the ACC isn't the SEC or Pac 12, I still think someone gets them. Miami, Florida, maybe a trap game where Boston College is scheduled in between the previous two, Clemson, an ACC championship game, someone like NC State or Syracuse sneaking up and shocking them. I just think someone gets them. With Louisville joining the conference, a game against a good enough Notre Dame, and some other challenges, that the weight becomes too much. The Florida and Miami games are two of the last three, and the conference championship would make it three of the last four to end the season. If they are undefeated by then, the weight will wind up being too much. Someone gets them. Who that winds up being is anyone's guess, but for me, it's probably best put as "the best team that no one is talking about at the time". Right now, that one seems to be Miami. Clemson and Florida are the sexy picks, so if you put a gun to my head, I'll go with Miami.

I think we've heard the last (although it wouldnt surprise me if something else does happen) of the bad of Jameis. As for Miami, not sold on them as a whole, were decent last year but didnt recruit anything that should make them standout. However it is a rivalry, so its hard to tell. Florida can't get any worse so they are ruled out and Clemson lost Boyd and Watkins as well as the starting HB going down for the season so they are ruled out as well. Louisville may be the trap game. But I can't see anyone being within 14 points of this FSU team

We are talking being the prohibitive, going to blow out every opponent type favorite in every game. Would not surprise me to see them favored by 14+ in every game.

September 5, 201412 yr Author which is ridiculous... The NCAA went from the months of January-August without saying a word and now that the season has started, all of a sudden they want to investigate... unfortunately I was wrong... good thing crow doesnt taste too bad! :isurrender:

This is a Title IX investigation being conducted by the school itself.

September 5, 201412 yr As they were required to do. But quite frankly I think this is FSU's fault for not conducting this in say, the spring. Yep. Should have done it during baseball season if they wanted to distance the program from it. I'm guessing his little shopping incident probably had something to do with it not being conducted then. I wouldn't even be shocked if the probationary period for that incident had just ended or something like that.
