For us Purples fans this shows you how good we were last year. I personally wish we were playing them but what is done is done. I hope Blackman goes undefeated till they play Hoover.

They should. So much for the ones that said Blackman wasn't loaded.

Just got done watching it. Blackmon is the real deal, they are loaded with size and talent. I'm glad the Purples picked up the win last year.

Fun game to watch! Blackman is a really good team. They may even have something for Maryville this year.

I watched Hoover get beat yesterday. They are fun to watch. Should be an interesting game.

Probably a really good thing the Purples don't have to play them this year. They look alot better this year than last and they were strong last year. Oakland's got a really good team, too. They may both have something for Maryville this year.

They could. Wouldn't count Oakland out by any means. They will likely meet again in the playoffs. Maryville is very good again. They play Alcoa this Friday. That will be a good one.

Loads of talent for 2 teams in the same town. Other Rutherford teams are pretty good also.

Watched this one and thought Oakland was going to take this one.

Turned into a good game.

Always good teams there. Alcoa vs Maryville will be good too! Will try to keep up with them in playoffs

Alcoa will not be challenged in 3a except maybe by CPA. Depends on if they play all out to win against Maryville or not. I don't think they did last year. It is just a pride game. They are about 5 miles apart. Both teams are defending champs & the favorites to repeat in 3a & 6a respectively. They are the Trinity & Highlands dominant teams in TN DI.
