NCC's open date is October 3rd. Ashland's open date is October 31st. Ashland should call Boyd County and get their game moved to October 31, and have it as the last game of the season as it always used to be. Then NCC could come to Ashland on October 3 and make up the game.

If Boyd is open on the 31st, which I assume they are or you wouldn't be posting this, it sounds like it could work. I imagine Boyd would be ok with changing dates.

The best option I have came up with is to try and work something out with Henry Clay. They are open on Oct, 31st and only have 9 games scheduled. The only other team I have seen that shares an open date and plays only 9 games is Somerset.

I'm sure your right about that, Ironton always draws a large gate. But that didnt seem to matter with the Ashland game, which would also have been a large gate.

NewCath better check the wiring and lighting at Tank Memorial Stadium. I recall Beechwood traveling to Ironton about 20 years ago and had the lead at or around halftime and the lights went out. A lot of controversy around BW not sticking around to finish it on Saturday. KHSAA awarded the victory to Beechwood.
