:laugh: it's AMAZING how something so small can cause SOOOOOO MUCH pain.

 

I am guessing the pain of it traveling from your kidney to your bladder was worse then it traveling from your bladder to the outside world?

I have passed two and had to have surgery on a third. The last one really was bad. Had to pull over on the side of the road. Ended up calling the wife to come and get me. Guys from work picked up my truck for me. Once we got to the ER they took me straight back. Dr. gave me loratab. Didn't work. Next came morphine. Didn't work either. The doctor came into the room and I was not there. I had the feeling of having to urinate real bad so I went to the bathroom. The doctor came running over to the bathroom and pulled open the door. He said I should be passed out from the meds. I just finished trying to pee. He then gave me dilaudid. OMG. When they were doing the paper work after they put into a room I thought I was on a beach. The nurse would ask me a question and I would turn my head to her and answer the question. When I turned my head back straight I was sitting on a beach looking at the waves. Felt great.

 

Here is the embarrassing part. The next week I had to head back to the doctor to get a stint taken out. Well I had no clue what was to happen. Nurse says strip from the waist down. For information purposes lets just say she is smoking hot. Well I am sitting there under the sheet and she comes up and takes off the sheet. No problem. She then proceedes to grab a hand full if you know what I mean. Well my second head takes over by then and it gets embarrassing. She says not to worry. It happens. Well then she proceeds to take out this shot that has a pretty big needle. She puts the shot in the second head. It trys to go back the other way real fast but she won't let go. It hurt pretty bad. Doctor then comes in and puts this snake looking thing into my body. The stint in up around my kidney. I feel it going in the whole time. Coming out is worse. I feel like I am going to urinate the whole time but Doctor say that will not happen. He and I argue about what is about to happen the whole time he is pulling the stint out. I didn't urinate on him after all. The first time I went to urinate after the procedure I was on fire. I hope I never get another. That was 5 years ago.
