August 8, 201412 yr It does sound like a worthy read. The subject matter seems way too important to disregard just because the movie didn't quite hit the mark. Thanks for the recommendation as it's re-peaking my interest again. If you had an interest based on the trailers, I think you'll enjoy the book. The scenes where he talks about his sister and grandpa are more detailed in the book.

I'm not disbelieving the entire story, just a little skeptical of some of it. I'm naturally a skeptical person anyway, have been since my high school days. There has to be a good amount of proof for me to even begin to believe many other topics as well, such as ghost, UFO's, Big Foot, and psychics.

Just wanted to make sure you knew I was being sarcastic...:lol2: I don't guess you believe in love either, you can't see it, touch it, measure it and it can never be proven that it is genuine. I have faith that I'm loved by my loved ones, even though it can't be proven as a scientific fact. There are things in life that require faith, not just a belief in God.

August 11, 201412 yr Hard to really say without giving away certain aspects of it. Just seemed very disconnected. :idunno: Very low budget. Dialogue wasn't exactly great. It had a school educational film feel to it. I'm with you. I did like it and find what that kid saw as very interesting
