I don't think Corbin can be ahead of Clay. Clay beat them by 6 without their best player. But I agree anything can happen in this region.

True:sssh:

From what I've been told the draw will be like this:

Monday, Tuesday ....boys

Wednesday, Thursday....girls

Friday, boys semis

Saturday noonish and 1:30 girls semis and Saturday night boys finals and Monday girls finals.

My ratings are:

1. South

2. Corbin

3. Clay

4. North Laurel

5. Bell

6. Barbourville

7. Cawood

8. Lynn Camp

Les,

North Laurel 1756 1798 13 - 15 - 0 4 - 5 - 0 1 - 2 - 0

Lost 8 of the last 12 and you have them the 4th best team in the region, some teams I guess need not win, to stay up in your rankings.

North has more talent than any team in the region besdies North. North is a really good ball club, and could make a run in the tournament.

For what it's worth:

SL

Corbin

Clay

NL

BellCo

B'ville

Cawood

Why have you moved B'ville down to 6?

Why have you moved B'ville down to 6?

Thats what i was thinking too????

Why have you moved B'ville down to 6?

Because I don't think Barbourville is all that good.

Barbourville only lost one game in the past month and that was to Bell County. Therefore, I have to disagree. North Laurel doesn't have the record to be ranked that high. But that is me. It makes little difference though. South is #1 and Lynn Camp is #8. In between there depends on what night it is.

Barbourville

Would Barbourville have a better record than North if they played the schedule North has this year? I don't think they would. It would be about the same maybe a little worse.

That's easy to answer...NO WAY!

And to you Scotty...let Bell play North's schedule and I guarantee you the Bobcats would be hovering around .500.

Barbourville beating other 13th Region teams = not that impressive. Plus, they always seem to lose in the postseason to someone they've already beaten in the regular season. They have no depth, and have been flattered by their baby-soft schedule.

Want more?

Also, the last time Barbourville has won a region tournament game was 1988, if I'm not mistaken. That's a long time folks.

Hey Jim, when was the last time Clay made the state (won 13th Region), I'm doing a story and I can't remember. Was it 2001?
