2013 Bengals Offense

What stands out from last year is the number of times the Bengals had to punt after running Green-Ellis up the middle on third and one.

You do realize the Bengals I believe were rank as one of the top teams in the NFL in converting 3rd and 4th downs of less than 2 yards in to first downs. They were also one of the best on the goal lines too, they were in the top 10 in both areas. So that doesn't exactly back up what you are saying. Perception is not reality. It's easy to remember the times that they did get stopped. However the Bengals actually were one of the better teams in the NFL in converting those short yardage plays. They honestly were good in that area, they struggled in third and 5 yards or more.

Over the past two seasons only peyton manning and drew brees has thrown more touchdown passes than dalton.

This is what makes dalton so frustrating. His numbers and wins have gotten better every year. He has been to playoffs each year. However I dont know what it is but he just does not perform the same against top teams in big games. It is like he tries to do to much instead of just playing the game like he does against other teams.

Keep remembering Peyton Manning was 0-6 in his 1st 6 playoff games. I not saying say Dalton is near as good as P Manning, though.

That is why everytime someone makes that staement when comparing the two it's like comparing apples and truck tires.

How many QB's threw less INT's than Dalton? Point being Dalton has thrown more INT's each year than he has the previous year

I am not arguing that one bit, because when he has had bad games he is down right awful. Sadly those games come in the big games. Hence the reason why I said he is so frustrating, because he shows he can put up good numbers most games. However once a top defense or big game happens he sucks and there is no other way to say it. I truly feel like he tries to hard and tries to do to much, and can't keep his emotions in check. Which is definitely a bad thing for a QB.
