Top 10 Teams In The 14th Region

Aside from Leslie County, which of the 54th teams would Buckhorn match up best with and where is the district being played this year?

The 14th region is Knott County Central at the top and everyone else far down the ladder.

Seems like they've had this team together since 2004! I hope they do well this year and represent the region to the max at the state tournament, but I will be glad to see them graduate.

Seems like kids from the surrounding areas are jumping on that state championship train. The kids mentioned that transfered are stars on their school teams but yet seem to be sacrificing scoring and playing time for a state championship. The pressure has to be on because if this team doesn't win it all, it never will, kinda like UK, Heat.etc.

When did the 54th start seeding? They did have a blind draw for as long as I can remember.

Coach Noble is a fantastic coach and one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. I will be shocked if Buckhorn isn't in the regional tournament with what they have returning. The player that transferred to PCC will be missed but I still think that Buckhorn ends up in the regional tournament.

I'm sorry, I meant blind draw. That is why I mentioned blind man bluff. It's hard to play your cards right, with no control.

Which of the two between PCC and Hazard does Buckhorn match up best with?

Just finding out that all 3 of the foreign exchange kids are expected to be at Hazard and eligible next season, so I'm inclined to bump them up some in the rankings.

Should be interesting to see what everyone in the 14th begins and ends the season with.

I'm especially interested in seeing what Big Al at Hazard is able to do with three kids who are as talented as I'd imagine the exchange kids being. Last season, Hazard had some solid players, but I thought their team was essentially Hudson and then a lot of smoke and mirrors. Regardless, Hazard still had a really good season and was right there in the end, so I'm not counting them out. I might even bump them up ahead of Perry Central and Cordia for now (assuming all of the exchange kids are eligible).

Two of the transfers looked very good to me. The four mentioned above plus the jumping jack that is very athletic will give Hazard a respectable nucleus. Two keys for the team, Wells and Big Al. I am still trying to figure out how Perry made the mistake of a letting a coach like Al get away. I love Wells! I don't have a name but the off guard transfer is going to be good too.

Which two were they? The kids from Serbia or one of the Serbians and the kid from Angola?

Big Al is a very good coach. You're usually making a safe bet thinking he'll have his teams ready.

Who is the off-guard transfer?
