May 20, 201412 yr If you come from a family of means, you will not be admitted. As an alum and college grad i have done okay for myself. I would love to have my 3 children attend College back at Berea. However, they have no chance of getting into school there. That seems to fly in the face of Crash Davis' post (#28) about wanting kids from different socio-economic backgrounds. Who was implying you haven't done well for yourself? If you somehow misinterpreted my post to mean that in any way, shape, or form, I apologize; that absolutely wasn't what I was inferring.
May 20, 201412 yr I think they are pretty selective and do know they attempt to fill each incoming class with kids from different socio-economic backgrounds and cultures. Try to get into Univ of Southern California.

Socio-economic isn't what I meant, even though it's what I typed. They only accept students with a financial need so socio-economic's have little to do with it. "Need based" is the best way I can put it. Single parent homes, under employed parents...etc. Black, white, Asian, Indian...etc.
