Many think the line will not be good this year, I disagree. They may not have the size and strength of last year's, but they certainly will be just fine up front. They have waited for a long time for their time. I think they will take full advantage of it.

From what I am hearing from the coaches, strength wise, this year is comparable......stronger in some spots. Size is not even close! 2013 Rams had definite size advantage.

Reports from the head coach saying kids are working and some have improved on the first day. Very solid. Good to hear.

 

Also, skill guys are "dominating". Straight from the coaches. Wonderful thing to hear.

Thanks to the 2013 team, the bar has been set higher than it ever has been at Raceland....Yes, other Ram teams had the ability, Region Championship in sight, a few in their grasp but now that a Region Title is in the books and trophy in the case then a New Goal Has Been Set for Every Raceland Team........Starting in the upcoming 2014 Season.....A Final Four Win.....State A Championship Game is the target.

I hope not and I honestly believe that it will Not be very long until the Rams are in Bowling Green, playing for a State Championship !!

Caden Townsend is the strongest kid on the team. I've been around the team basically every day. I have also been in the weight room with them and I don't think any skill guy is coming close to those number. A bit high. But Mr. Townsend is pretty close to them.

 

Heard Bowling dominated at EKU. Wallace second in the board drills as a sophomore. And the skill guys dominated in 7 on 7. Good things to hear!

Bailey Walker (SO) RB is benching around 300lbs. And squats in the high 400's.
