I could be wrong but I think Newport football head coach Matt Schmidt coached football there at one point.

The great thing about USMMA is that while you can fulfill your commitment through the military, you can also fulfill your commitment by working in the maritime industry. Best friend engineered oil tankers fresh out of Kings Point. Great money as a young guy. 4 months on a ship, 4 months of play.

To go to Kings Point also requires a congressional recommendation, just like any other academy. Well done young man!

It is run by a Commandant. I can't hear that word and not think of "Police Academy".

 

Congrats to Sam, have really enjoyed watching him play and develop his game. I remember a game at CovCath in the 12-13 season where he hung about 33 on the Colonels (in a lopsided Cougar defeat). He was great that night, made shots at several different levels and in several different ways.
