This hire could possible be a great benefit for Ray Spalding this season.

Replaces Rob Saxton, new AD as of 6/1/14. Good for Spalding to have someone with similar size to learn the skill set a 6'10" player needs.

Wouldn't your freshman coach also be an asst. varsity coach? So it kind of is the same thing.

While Rob Saxton was always on the side lines during JV and Varsity games, I don't believe he was on paper atleast, an assistant coach, I think at Trinity Frosh coaches are generally separate from Assistant Coaches. Now, while he may not have been an assistant coach "officially" how would be, along with assistants, coaching kids as they came out of the game but I don't think there was an expectation of that.
