#32 is indeed Senior Kyle Lubbers.

 

Lubbers is a self-made player who came out for the freshman team as a gangly, uncoordinated, post-player with few natural skills and abilities. He has come light-years during his career at Brossart, is an honors student in the classroom and has an opportunity to play college ball at Berea.

 

He is a major contributor to this year's Mustangs team and we are extremely proud of him.

I had the pleasure of sitting next to his parents at the CCH / Brossart game. They are deservedly proud of their son and his "rise to prominence." He has a nice stroke and was great from the FT line against CCH. I think his mom said he was considering Berea as well (as well as you mentioning it), so wherever he ends up, I wish him and his folks the best.

What a fun game to watch!!! Coach B had his boys ready to play tonight.I thought the boys from SG out hustled,out hearted and out played the Mustangs but the mustangs out sized and out scored the BigTrains.I beleive that SG had the Mustangs on their heels all night but their bench depth was just to much.

I would pick the Pelle boys on my team ANYDAY !

The Big Trains would have beaten many of the 10th region teams last night!! Good for the Mustangs SG only had 3 Pelles, one more and it might have been another major upset?? Cory and Justin carried that team all year, and can play for anyone in NKY!! Congrats to Justin on a great career and joining the 1000 point club; and Cory and Steven, we'll see you next year. Come on up to some open gyms this summer. Lucky for many in the 10th region and NKY division 3 that Bryant McCarter (sp?) was a year older than Justin!!

I grew up playing aginst Coach B from Silver Grove. If can can get them guys to play with the heart that he had in high school they will be a tough out every year in this district! :fight:
