Samsung Galaxy S5

I made the switch today. After several years of iPhone I decided to switch over to a Samsung Galaxy S5. Any suggestions or tips for this phone? It's awesome so far but it will take some getting used to.

Milk is a free app that is only available to Galaxy users. It's like Pandora with over 13 million songs but the best part is there's no ads.

 

- Smart switch app allows you to transfer everything you've saved to your icloud to your samsung. It takes about 20 minutes or so.

I just got a Samsung Galaxy S5 today also. Taking some time to get used to though.

I love the phone so far. Mainly like the size and overall look of the phone. Love the swipe text as well. The camera is awesome to.

Yes!!!! Great move my man. While I personally think the HTC One M8 is better, Android is the way to go.

I think Sv Fan is in the cell phone industry too but there is alot morr you can do on Androids than iOS. Mainly free music. I'll help you out when I'm home.

Okay phone nerds I need some help. I downloaded the Smart switch app but for some reason I can't get my contacts switched over. I have icloud turned on my iPhone and contacts on there as well. What might I be doing wrong. Is really just like to get my contacts and my pictures. I'm not too worried about my music right now. I'm not even entirely sure I want any music on this phone

Okay I didn't have my icloud backup turned on so maybe that was it. Turned it on and now it's showing some pictures when i log into the Smart switch app. Maybe that was the problem.

^ if you cant use a machine, see if the iPhone has an app called TapPouch and use that. Pictures are gonna be easier and faster to transfer via PC.

Can't find tap pouch on the iPhone.

I'm more concerned with my contacts right now than pics. I can put my pics on my computer and keep them off this phone now that I think about it

Gotta make sure you're contacts were turned on in icloud and it's been backed up. From there it should be very simple switch.

I am an AT&T customer. I LOVE free :lol2: Tried to talk the guy into waiving get the activation or upgrade fee today but no luck.
