What about Bob Cousy? Did he transfer out?

Just kidding - stirring the pot a little and having some fun.

 

 

Cousy actually did transfer out from CCH. He wasnt happy with the academics. He thought that Coach Tieman wasnt using his skills properly and went to Highlands. It got ugly after that. Fortunately, the Cous did end up with a nice scholly to Holy Cross College. I think HHS won the Sweet 16 that year despite ending up with a 2 - 24 record (Cous sat out the championship game and was sick for the Elder game).

Another player from that Heat team that was a big time player in middle school who went to CCH was Nick Hart. He was pushed to play football only from what I hear and was a good player.

 

Nick Hart was an absolute beast growing up - part of that was because he was 6'0'' as an 8th grader. Unfortunately, he's still 6'0''.

 

I'd love to know who pushed him to play football only. Everyone loves to start rumors about how you can only play 1 sport at CCH. They're not true.
