Mercer County 8th Grader, Seygan Robins, carried the Titans to victory tonight in first round action of the 12th Region tournament in Lincoln County. Seygan had 34 points in all and I believe she scored 12 of Mercer County's 14 points in the 4th Quarter.

 

Great kid from a great family who I look forward to following this season and beyond.

Boyle simply could not guard her. She was relentless in getting to the basket. So smooth with the ball.

Seygin Robins. I bet we will be hearing that name a lot over the next for years. I hope I get the chance to see her play sometime.

 

Congrats to Mercer County!

Mercer was just to Quick for Boyle tonight. They had Quick hand and was Quick to every loose ball. Turnovers and poor free throw shooting help do in the Lady Rebs. As a graduate of Boyle and helping with stats for Boyle B-Ball and football. If was sad to see but they had a great year. On the other hand my kids attend Mercer. So was kind of cheering for both. Mercer has a bright future with these young girls. Good luck Lady Titans.
