Replacing a legendary coach is always tough no matter what the sport. I hope he puts the ball in the air a little more than the Red Devils have done in the past. GOOD LUCK TJ !

I would say the best way to describe it is a good mix of run and pass. More run oriented but not afraid to throw it.

He likes to run it up the gut then when you crowd the box, hit some short screens and maybe a long pass or two and then repeat.

I appreciate the job that coach Maynard did at Raceland as an asst. coach / D coord., Head Coach. I honestly do and made a post on another thread on that.

As for happy that he decided to leave....hell no I'm not, lol. I do absolutely hope, wish the best of health to T.J. Maynard and his family, no question. As for success at Russell, no I can't honestly do that, :idunno: way too much RACELAND orange and black blood running through my veins for that. I will say that although I will not be pulling for him/Russell that I also won't be rooting against them, don't care and Russell is a non issue to me unless Raceland/Russell play again. There is One Exception to me not pulling for Russell - should the Red Devils ever play that school I the Westwood community of Ashland then yes, I will root for Russell. :thumb:
