Randy Parker Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 Final. Per Dan Rieffer, Jackson Davis finishes with 42 points.
strongopenyon Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 The Rice Owls are getting a very nice player in Jackson Davis. This kid has really worked on and improved his game since he first played for Lafayette. Last night was one of the best individual performances I have seen in the 11th Region in many years. He plays both inside and outside (4-7 front outside the arc), rebounds, and plays defense. This kid really plays hard! He is impressive. The Mendenhall boys are doing a nice job at Lafayette. The Generals have a nice mix of young and veteran players and are my pick to come out of the 11th Region this season.

Lots of good young coaches in the 11th with Hundley, Mendenhall, Brown (HC), Carter, Cody, and now apparently, a former D1 player in Jaron Brown (BS) who has some positive results in a salvage job. Hope I didn't leave anyone out. One thing is for sure, if you don't think that any of those coaches are good, time will tell. If you are in the 11th and can't coach, you need to have your bags packed and a mover on speed dial because you WILL get exposed.
