Mustangs win their 20th of the season with a 70-42 rout of the young Lloyd Juggernauts. Improve to 20-3.

 

Ugly first half ended with the Mustangs on top 28-18. A 26 point outburst in the third quarter decided it. Alex Trentman led all scorers with 25 points and sets a new school record with 25 consecutive double-figure performances. Mike Code closes in on the 200 wins mark - now has 198.

 

Lloyd is YOUNG. No seniors on the roster, and start a freshman, Lashunn Townsend, who is a tenatious defender. Brossart's size too much, as the Mustangs big men Burns (11) and Trentman (25) combine for 36 of the Mustangs' 70 points. Mustangs shot lights out from beyond the arc (7-10) - Hackworth 2, Rieger 3, Shannon and Trentman 1 each.
